Maoping specialises in the global short-term LNG market. His team delivers market balances, real-time monitoring of LNG facilities and scenario analysis for our clients. Based in Singapore, Maoping is responsible for our view on short-term LNG demand in APAC and drives the team’s routine publications and data solutions for our clients in the region.
Maoping joined Wood Mackenzie from Shell’s LNG business in Singapore, where he supported local gas customers and liaised with terminal operator in managing Shell’s LNG inventories. Previously, he was a chemical engineer based in Shell’s Singapore refinery, where he drove process optimisations and developed projects to maximise refinery margins.
