
Mhairidh leads Wood Mackenzie’s global research on carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) and co-leads Wood Mackenzie’s Carbon Management research practice. She is responsible for a team that provides insight and strategic analysis to project developers, technology providers, investors and governments. Based in the UK, she frequently travels to spend time with industry players, to develop the team and to hone the research agenda.
Mhairidh joined Wood Mackenzie in 2014. Prior to focusing on energy transition topics, she spent seven years as a lead analyst in Wood Mackenzie’s upstream oil and gas division, concentrating on the North Sea and offshore supply chain. Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Mhairidh started her career in 2005 with various commercial, advisory and project management roles in the oil and gas technology sector.
Mhairidh is an alumni of Scotland’s Future Industry Leaders Programme. She enjoys engaging with the wider industry, is an active mentor and is a regular speaker at conferences.
