Recently, the US president confirmed that goods from Mexico and Canada will face 25% tariffs, while 10% taxes will be implemented on imports from China. Other regions, such as Europe or countries like Brazil, Panama, and Colombia, are also targeted. When we decide to evaluate the measures' impacts on the polyamide market, we know we are embarking on a risky and uncertain adventure. Our most significant concern is that we aren't sure that these measures are in any way "final" or at least predictably stable. This means that this analysis risks becoming a "permanent work in progress"—each time we get a stable conclusion, the White House will change its position, and we will be back to square one. However, we still believe this analysis to be valid, even if it will force us to review it with a specific frequency. So, this is a case to be continued in our subsequent editions.
