The Incheon LNG terminal is located on a reclaimed island, eight kilometres from the mainland, for safety reasons. It was the second import facility, commissioned in 1996. The terminal is owned and operated by the state-owned integrated utility Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS). KOGAS awarded the EPC contract to a consortium consisting of DSI Korea, DYWIDAG and DSI Munich.After starting operations in 1996, the terminal has undergone expansion several times, adding storage and regas capacities. ...
