Report summary
Chuxiong copper mine is located in Yunnan province. The operation is owned and operated by Yunnan Copper. There are two main deposits, Chuxiong (Dayao) 1 (CD1) which is mainly sulphide ore and Chuxiong (Dayao) 2 (CD2) which is mainly oxide ore. The Chuxiong Plant is made up of two circuits: one to treat the sulphide ore and a small SxEw plant to treat the oxide ore. Typical cathode production is 140t/a. The accompanying analysis is based on concentrate production.
