Report summary
Keketale mine is located in Xinjiang province, China. Prior to 2007, Keketale mine was mined by several small private mining companies. Those small private mining companies only mined high grade ores and left behind the lower grade ores. It is currently owned by a joint venture between two large companies, and mining capacity was expanded from 1.8kt/d to 2.5kt/d in 2012. Due to the cold weather in winter, the mine only operates around 8 months each year.
