Report summary
The Öksüt mine is 100% owned by Centerra Gold Inc. through their subsidiary Öksüt Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (OMAS). Öksüt is a conventional truck and shovel open pit heap leach mining operation with a stacking rate of 11,000 tonnes per day. The mine had an initial life of 8 years and construction began in 2018. The first gold was poured in January 2020, and the mine achieved commercial production as of May 31, 2020.
