The UK Central Graben Basin is located on the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) in water depths of less than 100 metres. Conditions are generally benign, with modest storms compared to the nearby Northern North Sea and West Shetland basins. The Mesozoic HP/HT play remains of interest to explorers following the large Culzean discovery in 2008 and Glengorm in early 2019. Despite the higher-costs in the play, our outlook assumes companies will continue to target HP/HT prospects as this is where the material volumes and value exist.
