The Alve Area includes the Alve and Andvare (previously called Gjøk) fields on the Halten Terrace, 16 kilometres southwest of the Norne field in the Norwegian Sea. Alve was brought onstream in 2009 and was developed via a four-slot subsea template tied back to the Norne floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.
