Report summary
The Baltic Pipeline System (BPS) was built to transport oil from West Siberia, Timan-Pechora and Kazakhstan for export via the Primorsk terminal on the Baltic Sea. The terminal's total crude oil and petroleum products export capacity is 1.2 million b/d and 500,000 b/d respectively. The BPS also serves the domestic market via the existing Transneft pipeline network and refineries at Ukhta, Yaroslavl and Kirishi.
