Report summary
Blue Stream runs from the Stavropol Krai in Russia to the capital city of Turkey, Ankara. Gas is sent across the Black Sea from the Beregovaya compressor station, near Dzhubga. The pipeline lies in water depths of up to 2,150 metres - it is one of the deepest subsea pipelines in the world. The subsea section reaches landfall at the Durusu metering station, near Samsun. Blue Stream is operated by three different companies.
