Report summary
The Bøyla Area covers the producing Bøyla and Frosk fields. The area lies 28 kilometres to the south of Alvheim. Bøyla is a small oil field located in the Viking Graben area of the northern North Sea and was brought onstream in 2015. Frosk was brought onstream in 2023 and has been developed as a two well subsea tie-back to the Bøyla template. Oil is exported from the Alvheim FPSO via shuttle tankers. Gas is exported to the UK via the SAGE gas pipeline system.
