Europipe II is a dry gas export pipeline. It runs 658 kilometres from Kårstø in Norway to Dornum in Germany. Gas is then transported onshore to the Emden metering station via a 42-inch, 48-kilometre pipeline. The Plan for Development and Operation (PDO) for Europipe II was approved in 1996. Europipe II became part of Gassled in 2003, following the unitisation of the Norwegian gas export system.
