The Symra field was discovered in 2018, approximately eight kilometres northeast of the Ivar Aasent platform, in the Northern North Sea. A final investment decision was taken in December 2022 and production is scheduled to start in Q1 2027. The field will be developed as a subsea tie-back to the Aker BP operated Ivar Aasen platform.
