State-owned UzenMunaiGas (UMG) is a core production unit of NC KazMunaiGas (NC KMG), Kazakhstan's NOC. The large Uzen oil field is highly mature but remains one of Kazakhstan's key state-led upstream assets.UMG oil output has fallen in recent years to less than 100,000 b/d, owing to natural decline. Oil is exported via the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS) and Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) pipelines to Russian ports, with the remainder sold domestically.UMG previously held exploration ...
